the tracks on the “collider” ep represent a journey through the mind of the musician solihtude during a period of upheaval in his life, reflecting his inner turmoil. the cover artwork visually captures this chaos, not only approaching the album's themes in terms of content, but also incorporating the musical diversity of the tracks and the analogue charm of the sounds in solihtude's electronically influenced music into the creative process. the artwork is an acrylic painting applied to a pane of glass, created performatively to serve as a canvas video for the musician. you can barely recognize the arms of the protagonist on the cover, as they threaten to sink into the chaos. the layout was digitally inserted using mixed media.
