illustration

to me, illustration is a form of representation with unlimited possibilities. my intention is to create a surreal scene for the viewer to immerse themselves in. i work with both analogue and digital techniques and i am also attracted to the combination of these two areas in mixed media artwork. in my work, i am always trying to reinvent myself and try out new styles and ways of working.

it is also important to me that the narrative framework is not too rigid, so that the viewer can immerse themselves in the atmosphere and build their own connection with the work. the illustrations should retain something mysterious and unfathomable that the beholder can fill in himself. i aim to make my work accessible to all interested people. for me, the art lies in providing my works with extraordinary, multi-layered design elements that make them stand out, yet remain approachable to the viewer.

starting from scratch

digital and analogue

depending on the project, i work both digitally and analogue. the special attraction for me is the combination of working methods and experimenting, in order to add something unique and special to the previously conceptually created work and to constantly develop myself.

risography

besides the creating process of the illustration, i am also interested in different printing processes. risography has a certain charm for me. the special luminosity and vibrance of these colours and the slight offset give each print something individual. the grainy texture also gives each print a unique, analogue and charming look. as a fixed colour palette, the process requires clear design choices, but also offers endless possibilities for combining the individual tones.

screen printing

in contrast to risography, i print almost all of my screenprints myself. the process offers me a wide range of applications, such as paper and textile printing. i also enjoy the analogue component, which, unlike digital printing, captivates with deviations and special textures.
