the irock festival in sauerland, germany, is a multi-genre rock festival that focuses on a shared experience and a family atmosphere. the design of the shirt is intended to represent the closeness to nature of the festival, which takes place in the countryside, and to reflect the diversity that the festival offers and strives for. the design takes into account some background stories and details that have accumulated over the years and are part of the identity of the festival site and the event.



to achieve a uniform look, the logo in the style of this year's festival was also customised for the front of the shirt in addition to the artwork for the backprint of the shirt.
as the festival takes place in an old sawmill, the saw blade of the logo plays an important role in the identity of the festival. in the illustration, it remains as an ambiguous element that also represents a sun.
